New NORTH speaker Bill Spano will be joining us for a discussion on Inspecting Residential Ventilation Systems. In his presentation, Bill will review the basic function of forced air systems, EVRs and other exhaust systems in the home, discuss current energy regulations, and what to look for in a new installation. Bill will also outline all the things that can go wrong with mechanical ventilation systems, how to identify malfunctions, their impact on the home's indoor air quality, as well as options for maintenance, cleaning and repair.
